We are pleased to announce the publication of Ruslan Zhyvokorintsev’s monograph, a work that represents an important stage in his professional development and a meaningful contribution to contemporary choreography.
The book, «Масова хореографія як система: Теорія. Методологія. Практика.»
(Mass Choreography as a System: Theory, Methodology, Practice), brings together more than twenty-five years of professional experience in choreography, teaching, and large-scale performance direction, presenting this knowledge in a structured and accessible form.
Rather than viewing choreography only as a creative practice, the author approaches it as a system with clear methodology and practical application, offering a framework that reflects real work with dancers, group formations, and performance production, and allows this experience to be studied and applied in professional settings.
Following its publication, the book has been distributed to major libraries across Ukraine, where it is now available to students, educators, and professionals, confirming its relevance within both educational and professional environments.
Originally written in Ukrainian, the monograph combines theoretical understanding with practical tools, based on long-term experience in teaching and staging performances, making it useful for choreographers, instructors, and anyone working in the field of dance.
The project continues to develop internationally, as the book is currently being prepared for translation into English and Spanish, with Chinese planned for the future, expanding access to a wider audience.
The book is now available for online order through Ruslan’s official website, providing direct access to a structured approach to choreography grounded in real experience.
This publication represents a systematization of knowledge developed over decades, offering a practical foundation that can be studied, applied, and further developed within the field.
